Style it your way!
It’s all about expressing yourself and embarking on your own style journey. Under the name Anything Goes, our spring fashion sneaker campaign highlights personality and individual style as it shows five young people in a vibrant display of their own choosing. In fact, all five have directed their own campaigns to ensure their personal perspective on the two hummel styles. The new HB Team and the Diamant in sleek suede.
The campaign features Dowaa, Sarah, Kasper, Jonathan, and Terne. Five young people with interesting perspectives on their lives, their surroundings, and the world in general. While their interests and areas of expertise may differ, they are united by one thing: the fact that they all talk about individuality and personality, the right to be who you want to be, as well as embracing a diverse and inclusive world.
Meet the five young people right here and get closer to the HB Team and the Diamant sneakers!
WIN a pair of Diamant Or HB Team sneakers
20-year-old Dowaa is a creative soul that loves to express herself through fashion. She isn’t afraid of colour, print or having fun – and that shines through as she styles the hummel Diamant sneaker in her own way. “Fashion in Europe is much more about black, navy and white than colours. I like to represent a contrast to that, that’s my aim. It has always been like that, since I started developing my own sense of style when I was 14 or 15,” she says.
Meet Jonathan: a true cosmopolitan who is inspired by Japanese fashion and the music scene. His all grey outfit compliments the new hummel HB Team sneaker perfectly and accents his cool attitude. Contemplating whether he should become a stylist or an engineer, the 19-year-old has lived a majority of his life in Brussels. He has now relocated to his native Copenhagen, but is mostly looking towards Japan and France for inspiration. “It’s the mix of functionality and colour that I really like. A lot of Japanese fashion is about differentiating yourself, about being unique and not just copying others. Having a personal style and expressing myself gives me a lot of confidence. It really helps you form your personality.”
This is Terne, an 18-year-old young woman who loves to express herself through dance and fashion. Her tone-on-tone look fits perfectly with our new HB Team sneaker and allows for her personality to shine. An avid dancer, she likes how she can use her body to portray emotions: “I like how dance is a very personal way of expressing myself – even when you do routines, it’s about how you show your own personality and emotions. Everything doesn’t have to be the same. As young people, we are educated by the same systems and institutions – so it’s important to be able to express oneself in an independent way.”
An entrepreneurial mind, the visions of an innovator and a love of style. Meet Kasper, 26, who has styled himself wearing the new colourway of the popular Diamant. Focusing on everything digital, he’s a true storyteller. “Being a part of a specific cultural wave is super interesting – I love to create and help shape culture. I like to tell stories and convey certain aspects of our culture. With the right stories, people can dream and hope – and that really gets me going,” Kasper says.
She wears the new HB Team sneaker perfectly. A versatile and fashionable sneaker that calls for your personal style to come through. Just look at 18-year-old Sarah, who’s a young, creative soul. “Expressing myself through style has always been important to me,” she says. “I have always been a little different and my style changes a lot. I think it’s important to show your curves and your body and accept and embrace yourself. If you don’t accept yourself and your own body, you can’t live a balanced life,” she notes.
